Jumping Jax

ImageWe got Miss Jax a trampoline and I am pretty sure it’s going to be one of the all-time best purchases we’ve ever made. EVER!

For one thing she loves it – and nothing is better than seeing pure joy on your child’s face – nothing. I am pretty sure I will be able to take my laptop outside and get lots of work done while she jumps ’til her heart’s content. And she is going to wear her self down with fun on this thing so I am hoping for longer naps! Score.

The hubs assembled it today and Jax was left inside while he worked. Oh, how her heart was broken watching him, and once she realized it was a trampoline she really broke down. Pointing and giving me begging looks – “mama, please, dada!” Very traumatic for both of us! Imagine her excitement when he was done and she got get her jumps in. Hooray!

It was a warm day and Jax was thrilled when the sprinklers came on. She got to jump and splash all at t he same time!

Water Bottles

Image

My Jacquelyn does everything to the beat of her own drum. She is breastfed and has never really taken to a bottle. I would say before the last month or so she had only ever had a bottle about three times her entire life. She just refused them and that was fine with me because I cherished (still do) our nursing time.

Then during the holidays my brother and his family came to stay with us. Jax took interest in my youngest nephew, particularly because he had a bottle. She swiped it right from his hands and helped herself to the goodness within.

Since then, my goofy girl likes to drink her water out of a bottle, juice out of a cup, but water from a bottle. I know at 19-months, she is too old for a bottle and she doesn’t do it often enough to damage her pallet and teeth, so for now I will indulge her.

Her silly idiosyncrasies put a smile on my face.

She had to have the pink bottle to match her pink princess jammies, of course.

The Fysiko Lash Growth Serum Challenge: Final Review

ImageWords can’t express how happy I am with the results I achieved using Fysiko Lash Growth Serum. My lashes are visibly longer and thicker after 16 weeks and I noticed a difference within the first few weeks.

I now have amazingly long lashes and I am thrilled. I have received numerous compliments and have even been asked if I got lash extensions!

As a stay-at-home mom, it’s easy for me to feel frumpy. There are days when I don’t bother to shower let alone apply a face full of make-up and mascara, but with my lashes by Fysiko I don’t even need to. My lashes are that thick and luxurious!

Application was easy, just a swipe across my lash-line once or twice a day. I usually did this as part of my night-time regimen. Fysiko was gentle on my sensitive eyes and can be worn under mascara, just be sure you apply it to clean eyelids.

Hooray for Fysiko Lash Growth Serum! I am a true believer! Learn more about Fysiko Lash Growth Serum here.

My Friend Amy and Her Miracle Elixir

My friend Amy Brown is truly one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted people I know. Always ready to listen to my woes with a compassionate ear, always willing to help and offer positive words of encouragement. Everyone needs a friend like Amy.

Amy has a story to tell, an amazing one of endurance, strength and human spirit.

Years ago, Amy got really, really sick. So sick she needed a kidney transplant. The illness was inexplicable; Amy had lived a healthy lifestyle before it hit. She was active and ate right but suddenly there she was, clinging to life, in dire need of a new kidney.

Many people wait years for organs, often times they run out of time waiting – but that wasn’t the case for Amy. Her sister, saved her life with the gift of a kidney.

But after the transplant, Amy wasn’t getting better. The anti-rejection meds destroyed her immune system. She was constantly in and out of t he hospital. Then a friend made a suggestion that would change her life. She recommended XANGO juice.

XANGO are the makers and distributers of juice mangosteen, a super-fruit known for centuries to be healing and a natural immunity booster.

Amy took a shot and tried the juice regime. The improvement was slow but noticeable and within a few years she vastly improved her kidney function. She then incorporated other XANGO products into her regimen and today is feeling better than ever.

Recently I started using XANGO protein powders and I love them! It’s a clean product, free of the nasty chemicals, preservatives and heavy metals found in some other protein powders. I have been making tasty, healthy meal replacement smoothies and shakes that my entire family loves.

I can’t wait to dive deeper into the XANGO product line. In addition to the juice and protein powders they offer bath, beauty, nutritional support and loads of other beneficial products.

Stay Tuned!

I know my blogging hiatus has been a bit exaggerated. Moving does that to you – sucks the life right out of you – and it’s taken motivation and inspiration along with it.

For example, we’ve been in our new house for over two weeks now and I have cooked dinner only twice! Yup, you read that correctly -TWICE!

That is a lot of take-out and even more feelings of guilt. I am such a worthless slacker these days.

My plan was to come back in full force today, but my baby, Jax is under the weather with a terrible cough and refused to nap today. We had lots of snuggle time and tantrums so I put my brain to bed with my sickie baby – both can use some rest.

But, no more excuses. I will be back tomorrow.

See you then.
